Screen has lines all over it

Hi there!

I have a 2020 macbook air and it has quite a lot of lightly visible dark grey lines all over it. I went to the Apple Genius bar and confirmed it was a hardware issue but they said the replacement of the screen could take up to 3 weeks. Since I can’t afford to have the laptop gone for 3 weeks, it possible for me to replace it myself?

I would still double check by plugging in an external display via an adapter if the external image in mirror mode is clean then you’ve verified the internal needs replacing.
