1 I cant get my Dell Inspiron 1564 to load windows 7
When i turn my laptop on it goes right to windows error recovery . it says windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. to fix the problem:
1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2.Choose your language settings, then click next.
3. click repair your computer.
I dont have the disk its talking about. Is there any way around that?

Deanne Richardson, check this current question Fresh install of windows 7 from another machine? and look though the answers. Try to access your recovery partition. When the system boots, immediately press the Ctrl and F11 keys at the same time and you will enter the Dell Recovery Restore Utility.There is also the possibility it might work when you hold down the number 0 key or the F5 on startup. See if you can recovery from there. Also check on the links for further information. Let us know what you get.
