Horizontal lines on display after bezel replacement

Hi,

Experiencing horizontal lines after replacing a damaged bezel as per this guide: MacBook Pro 13" Glasrand Austausch

A hairdryer was used on medium heat to soften the double sided tape. Everything was fine when powered back on. Lines were not visible until about 20min later.

Initially suspected it could be heat soaked and over heating. Device was turned off and left overnight.

After about 2hrs use today, lines have returned. Replacement bezel was removed in case debris from smashed bezel remained. Nothing was visible and no damage can be seen on the ribbon cables. Electrical tape now being used to protect the ribbon cables until another replacement bezel arrives.

Bezel had been damaged and covered with electrical tape for a number of weeks before replacing it yesterday. There was no sign of issues with the display before replacing it.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
