Is there a way to improve a early 2015 MacBook Air battery life?

I have a early 2015 13” MacBook Air that has a 1.6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 graphics card.

I am using this computer to run photoshop, lightroom, creative cloud, etc. I also use this laptop for school work as well.

The issue that I have noticed is that when I do open editing programs my battery drains at an unusual rate more so than just opening a taxing program.

This issue has been happening for a while and I haven't ever replaced this battery.

I want to know if there is anyway to improve the battery life of my laptop before replacing the battery.

Sounds you might have to replace it. Does the macbook have a program similar to lenovo vantage which can give information on cycles etc?

Post a snapshot of CoconutBatteries main window here so we can see your batteries health. Most likely you need a new one just based on your systems age if you still have the original battery it came with.

For reference review this guide MacBook Air (13 Zoll, Anfang 2015) Akku austauschen as you can see it’s a very easy replacement.
