Broken/cracked motherboard, fixable?
Is a broken motherboard fixable? The board itself was cracked. It still works minus the b button being stuck. Could I buy a non-working one and just swap everything over if not?

I just had a look at the images and realistically. Can it be fixed? Maybe. But I do not think it would be worth the time or effort in this case. It would require a lot of work to repair all of the broken electrical traces.
Most circuit boards on complex electronics are multiple layers (the Nintendo Switch included) so even beyond the electric lines on the surface, there are lines below that which could have been severed that will need repairing/rebuilding.
I managed to find some high resolution photos documenting all the various layers of a Nintendo Switch Lite circuit board. (it will take a moment to load, and use the w/s keys to cycle up or down through the layers.
You're better off getting a new board in my opinion.

@michelehoyle "buy a non-working one and just swap everything over" that'll be a big job which requires the proper equipment and the skills to do board level repairs. It's possible but may not be a good idea if you don't have the tools or the experience. Let us see what the damage looks like. Maybe it can somehow be fixed/bypassed. If nothing else, look for a working motherboard and then replace yours.

I edited it and added photos of both sides
@michelehoyle consider that a write-off. Buying a non-working board means you would just be inheriting someone else's problems. Time to find a working board :-)
