Over the past year, my photos sporadically have a blur only on the right side and not all the time, but increasing with same issue. I do not use a tripod, but have steady hands when photographing scenery. It is curious it is only on the right side and remainder of photo is sharp. Any suggestions?

@nnysewander it could be that either your lens or your image sensor are developing some failure. Use these guides Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 to work on it.
For any adjustments etc. go to the Documents tab on this page Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 and download the Panasonic manual.
