Background and Identification
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 is a point and shoot camera announced by Panasonic on January 5th 2014. Compared to other cameras, the ZS40 is unique as it has a built-in GPS feature which allows for instantaneous geotagging of your photos. Although referred to as a “pocket camera”, the ZS40 boasts a 30x zoom with an 18-megapixel sensor. In addition to this, the ZS40 has an electronic viewfinder with 100% field of view allowing for pictures to be taken even if you cannot see the rear LCD screen. For a “pocket camera”, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 has a lot of unique and high end features going for it.
