1 Left JoyCon will not charge or connect to the switch
Hello,
my left JoyCon won't connect to the switch or charge on the switch or an external charger anymore.
Here's what I already tried:
- My switch works with a different left joycon, so it's not the switch.
- It worked in wireless mode until the battery died because I couldn't charge it anymore.
- I tested every button in test mode, they all worked.
- I triple checked the flat band connectors.
- I cleaned the rail connectors with a toothbrush and isopropanol while turned off.
- I exchanged the rail of the JoyCon.
Is there anything else to check? What would be the next step? Exchange the bord of the JoyCon?

A new board didn't fix it. Since by now also the battery is dead I can't tell if the new board works at all or if the problem is somewhere else.
Any ideas?

Hi! So you tried a new motherboard, but now there is no sign of life at all? If this is the case, you may have received a faulty motherboard. Better return it and get a new board! Please also make sure that all cable are connected.
