Why is my Xbox freezing when turning on or switching apps/games?

After using Microsoft Edge for movies and switching to games or apps like YouTube or Netflix, my Xbox one starts freezing and even rebooting won't fix it. The only way is to reset the console (I choose to keep games and apps since it makes no difference), and it works for a while. If only using the console for games and YouTube or Netflix, this issue does not appear. It's only after I start using Microsoft Edge, usually for a while, that it starts freezing and requires a reset.
