Acer Aspire One 522 Repair

The Acer Aspire One 522 is a Laptop released by Acer in 2011. It had a starting price of $330, being a cheap option for getting on the internet. It was noted among netbooks for its high resolution display of 1280x720 and its inclusion of a HDMI port. No recalls for this device exist, but its screen is prone to failure due to the ribbon cable connecting to the screen is put under a lot of stress.

There were two models released, a US/EU version and a Thai version. The Thai version runs the Linpus Linux OS and has upgraded hardware compared to the US/EU version. It has a 320 GB hard drive compared to the 250 GB and it has 2 GB of RAM compared to 1 GB. Its competitors at the time include the ASUS Eee PC 1015PN, the ASUS Eee PC 1015PED, and the Acer Aspire 521. The Acer Aspire One line of computers was discontinued in 2013.

The Acer Aspire One 522 is a thin flat netbook that is about 10 inches by 7 inches. On the back cover it will say the words Aspire one, with Acer in the top left corner. On the underside will be the model number, it will be to the left of the word 'acer' on a white sticker.
