	You have to peel out the sticker, then clean with alcohol (90% is better, 70% is ok) both the cooper concentric circles on the board and the zinc(?) metallic domes glued to the back of the white sticker. I recommend q-tips for the domes as the alcohol might damage the glue, and you will need it.

First released in early 2008, at least two revisions of the  diNovo Mini have been available. It was also re-released as the "Logitech Mini Controller", which offered a modified keypad catering to Google TV devices. At present, Logitech has discontinued all keyboards in this form factor.

== Fixing Dead Keys ==

Dead keys are cause by oxidation or dirt on the metal contacts.

The keyboard switch are the cheapest construction possible: Printed board with a inner dot and an outer circle around it, and then a metallic domes glued to an adhesive plastic sheet on top to short the connection between the two concentric circles on key presses.

After you disassembled everything you will see the circuit board with a white sticker underneath the removable plastic keys.

You have to peel out the sticker, then clean with alcohol (90% is better, 70% is ok) both the cooper concentric circles on the board and the zinc(?) metallic domes glued to the back of the white sticker. I recommend q-tips for the domes as the alcohol might damage the glue, and you will need it.

The glue can be replied several times if you screw up. I have to clean mine because of dead keys every year or so. The edge keys get damaged earlier (e.g. mouse button key, A, P, etc)

== Hintergrund & Verfügbarkeit ==

Zum ersten Mal Anfang 2008 veröffentlicht, waren mindestens zwei Versionen des diNovo Mini verfügbar.  Es wurde auch als "Logitech Mini Controller" erneut veröffentlicht, der eine modifizierte Tastatur für Google TV-Geräte bot.  Derzeit hat Logitech alle Tastaturen in diesem Formfaktor eingestellt.

== Defekte Tasten reparieren ==

Defekte Tasten werden durch Oxidation oder Schmutz auf den Metallkontakten verursacht.

Die Tastaturschalter sind die billigste Konstruktion, die möglich ist: Eine Leiterplatte mit einem inneren Punkt und einem äußeren Kreis um sie herum, und dann eine Metallkuppel, die oben auf eine selbstklebende Plastikfolie geklebt wird, um die Verbindung zwischen den beiden konzentrischen Kreisen bei Tastendrücken kurzzuschließen.

Nachdem du alles zerlegt hast, siehst du die Leiterplatte mit einem weißen Aufkleber unter den abnehmbaren Plastiktasten.

Du musst den Aufkleber abziehen und dann mit Alkohol reinigen (90% sind besser, 70% sind in Ordnung), sowohl die konzentrischen Kupferkreise auf der Platte als auch die Zink (?) Metallkuppeln, die auf die Rückseite des weißen Aufklebers geklebt sind.  Ich empfehle Q-Tips für die Kuppeln, da der Alkohol den Kleber beschädigen kann und du ihn wieder benötigst.

Schrubbe die Dinge so gut wie möglich, um die unsichtbare Oxidation so weit wie möglich zu entfernen.  Beachte, dass du "nur" den inneren Teil (Seite mit Kleber) der Kuppeln entfernen musst, nicht den hinteren Teil (Seite ohne Kleber).

Danach den Aufkleber erneut anbringen.  Es muss nicht zu 100% übereinstimmen, aber wenn du die Markierung zu sehr verfehlst, wirst du das sofort merken, da sich die Tasten registrieren, sobald du den Akku einlegst (Hinweis: Du kannst den Akku unter die Platine halten und den kleinen Schalter für den Abdeckungssensor drücken und so vor dem Zusammenbau überprüfen, ob alles funktioniert. Wenn du an jeder der 4 Ecken eine Taste drücken kannst, ist alles ok).

Der Kleber kann mehrmals aufgetragen werden, wenn du es vermasselst.  Ich muss meine jedes Jahr wegen defekter Tasten reinigen.  Die Randtasten werden schneller beschädigt (z. B. Maustaste, A, P usw.)
