For 2025, Apple's entry level tablet, simply called "iPad" is refreshed for its 11th generation. Announced in a press release alongside the also-refreshed iPad Air 7, the iPad 11 is just a minor update over 2022's 10th generation. iPad 11 goes from an A14 Bionic SoC to an A16, boasts double the base storage, gets 6 GB of RAM (vs 4 GB on iPad 10), the same 11-inch Liquid Retina display (which was labeled as a 10.9-inch display on iPad 10), and the same 12 MP Landscape Ultra Wide front camera. The iPad 11 keeps compatibility with the 1st generation Apple Pencil, provided you have a USB-C adapter.
Notably, the iPad 11 lacks any Apple Intelligence features.
The iPad 11 is available in 4 colors, Silver, Pink, Blue, and Yellow, and is available with either 128, 256, or 512 GB of internal storage. There are two connectivity options: a Wi-Fi-only model and a Wi-Fi with Cellular. The cellular model now only supports eSIM, not compatible with physical SIM cards anymore.
The iPad 11 starts $100 cheaper than iPad 10 for double the base storage, at $349 for 128 GB.
