This guide will instruct you how to replace a filter in the iRobot Roomba 960. Filters should be replaced often with frequent use.

Orient the Roomba so that the device is on its wheels and the words can be read from left to right.
Frag FixBot

Press the large button on the Roomba that is located closest to you.

Pull to remove the dust bin.

With the dust bin completely detached from the Roomba, press the tab that is located on your right (there is a yellow arrow pointing to it).

Lift the red plastic cover to access the filter.

Using the yellow ribbon that is located at the top of the filter, pull it towards you.

Carefully remove the used filter.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I need to replace the red bin cover over the filter, do I need to unscrew the black piece or something or just try to pry it out. I don’t want to break it.
