I felt the kit should have come with Arctic cleaner or alcohol pads. Also the directions state to lay the mother board level on a book or something. I used the plastic side of the cooler/heat sink instead successfully.(As seen in attached image)

Also be careful putting the motherboard metal halves together. There are interlocking pins on the edge & without assembly instructions its easy to miss them.
