Battery life had degraded over time to about 1/3 of expected battery life.

Quick and easy repair. I like to make a layout grid for placing the screws to ensure they do not get mixed up, the actual repair probably took about 5 minutes. The battery is excellent, same battery life as the original OEM battery.
Mein Rat
The hardest part is the battery tape. Removing it is pretty easy, just use even force. When re-applying it though, be very careful as it's easy to have it get folded and ruined. I recommend buying one extra tape, just in case.
