It IS unfortunate that this problem persists. It's NOT the technicians I assure you. We know how to replace screens with no problems. It's just the replacement parts we can get for the 6S are not the best. My repairs stop at the six and six plus. I don't do 6S or beyond anymore because of this reason.
Battery saver mode, or your battery may just be old. Batteries get worse over time. They lose charge capacity, or at least Li-ion ones do. So depending on where you are with your battery, that will decide what you need to do. Keep in mind battery saver mode kills performance. Another thing to note is that this laptop isn't meant to be used on battery especially for gaming. Just think about what is being asked of the laptop boasting a GTX980M inside it and you want to "extend" battery life? Doesn't work like that unfortunately for all of us lol. When you use it off Power, are you gaming? Or you just want more battery life for simple tasks? Don't expect more than an hour with gaming and running on battery. It's just not what this laptop was designed for. These are power hungry machines and if you want battery life, maybe buy a new laptop with a lower model GPU and put it on Balanced mode for power settings and just don't play any crazy games. OR stop trying to game for extended periods of time with a gaming...
It always helps to Google something before buying it. "iPad Air reviews" in Google would have saved you. I just find it funny how in this day and age, people STILL make "purchase mistakes" because they didn't take the time to research the several-hundred-dollar device they are about to commit to purchasing. You should have seen the amounts of research I did before buying my $1,399 Asus G751JY laptop. I'm absolutely pleased with it and am happy I don't deal with issues other people have. Just be weary, buddy. ALWAYS GOOGLE.
This gives a false illusion to the difficulty of these repairs when you guys make guides using perfect devices. What about devices with dinged corners? A reader is gonna slap on a new screen and shatter it the second they apply pressure thinking it will fit into a dented corner lol
It's funny that iFixit changed the image they used. Even they themselves realized how stupid it was to try a suction cup on taped up surface. C'mon guys! You should at least make foot notes for your readers and let them know what to do if the glass is already shattered. It's a slow methodical process that involves working with a iOpener type tool. I personally have one that looks like a prison shank (lol)
Can you please link me to any videos to repair the XT1063 Moto G 2nd gen screen? I already ordered the lcd assembly and frame so the repair is easier. But I just can't find any step by step guides.
Best way to position?
May be a faulty battery, try with a known working battery
