taking apart is rather simple, has some Hex screws size H2.5 once the 6 screws are removed then pry the 3 sides of the end to pop off the side. from there it's only 2 screws holding the box with the port. from there the parts are somewhat standard but if your needing to replace the board then you will need to know how to solder. Mehr erfahrenOn older imacs I would put new thermal paste as it's probably dried up by now and can be over heating quickly and causing the shut down. Another possibility is a failing Hard Drive, altho this usually won't shut down the computer you would just get a folder flashing or a circle with a line through it. Mehr erfahrenUnfortunately it looks like you have a dead/shorted out LCD panel. If you have tried a new mainboard/powerboard and backlight stays on only when you disconnect the bottom lvds then that's all you can do. A new panel is going to cost more than a new tv. If no cracks are present it is possible the water resistant seal on the display or back glass has let in moisture/liquid and is corroded the display. A screen repair or phone replacement seems imminent so just backup often ?
Mehr erfahrenFrom my experience this can be a sign of a bad Graphics Card. I would unplug it from your mother board and if your desktop has a Display connection such as HDMI or VGA on it then plug it directly to that and boot it up. The only time this won't work is if your Processor doesn't have integrated graphics or your motherboard doesn't have a display connection on it. Also could you get us the model of your desktop, motherboard, gpu, cpu this might help us get you a better answer/solution. Thank you
Mehr erfahrenBravia TV are a bit tricky as all the boards are co dependent but I would try doing a firmware update with a USB drive. You should be able to locate that on the Sony Support page and walks you through creating the usb with that file and the steps to do on the TV. AND also give the usb a long while to compete it's thing. I once was impatient and had given up on it, left for lunch and it was able to complete the process and came up.
Mehr erfahrenI would check to see if the mesh grill that's on the front your your screen near the top is clogged. I would clean this with some isopropyl alcohol and a small brush. Sometimes when it's dirty the sound gets trapped in a small chamber and sounds muffled. This is a picture of a clean speaker mesh grill. Would like to hear if this helped. ?
Mehr erfahrenIf it was in the middle of updating it might have failed and is now stuck. You may loose data unless it's been backed up but if you just need your phone working you can try using a tool called 3U Tools on a windows PC to try and reinstall iOS on the phone. If you have a Mac you can also place your phone in DFU mode and then restore it with iTunes. You may also need to put the phone in DFU mode to use 3U tools to reinstall. Hope this helps ?
