Well I had another customer today with a non responsive iPhone 7 plus screen after updating last night. The screen she had was installed 6 months ago and had no cracks in it. Anyway I tried several screens and even an OEM apple screen with the same issue repeating itself and the solution I eventually found was changing out the front camera flex. Once I replaced that it worked 100%.
It's clearly a hit and miss when it comes to fixing this problem as I have ran into it before and tried various attempts with no luck. For an iPhone 6 this time I tried: 1. Swapping out the sim 2. Resetting network settings 3. Checking for updates (all is updated) 4. Swapping the charger port 5. Swapped out the screen assembly 6. Reconnecting the antenna on the top left 7. The infamous drop attempt several times 8. Restarting multiple times several different ways 9. I swapped out the entire logic board over to another iPhone 'All with zero luck'
I went from step 35 to 99. Worked perfect. After heating up the iPad and getting it pulled up I then used two tools. One under the battery because the contact point has to be raised and one under the logic board. Both at the same time then pull the battery out from under it.
3rd flight and my gimbal already tore off after bumping into a small bush and falling 4 feet to the ground. The number one repair will most likely be that flimsy gimbal.
