My charging part on my ZTE Lever also needs to be replaced. I can not find any instructions on how to replace it. You Tube has a video on the complete tear down of the Lever. Maybe that video will answer your question on the soldering. There is an Ebay Seller that offers repair/replacement of charging port. Also ZTE offers repair service. Hope this info helps.
