Hello You have probably a dead battery or a defective charger function (charger port or main board). Try to change the battery (economically reasonable) .
Hello 1/ No the haptic engine is not necessary to turn on the phon. 2/ Do you tried to boot your phone with a lightning cable ? Are you sure that your batteries (old and new) are charged ? Replacement battery is sometime a lottery and a brand that worked correctly one day can be deffective in another batch. Find a good provider rather than a good brand (I saw fake Apple Battery : the brand is good… but it was a junk product) Of course you can damage your mother by many different way but it would be surprising that you manage to do it if you were a bit cautious during battery disassembling . I have notice that sometime when you disconnect the battery and reconnect it, the power button is not efficient and you need to boot with the lightning cable.
Hello, base on my personal experience on iPhone, this is typical of a dead battery (the battery is not able to accept a charge cycle ) or a trouble with the charger fonction. Since it is an ipad 1, a dead battery would not be surprising.
hello it seems your power button create multiple pulses rather than a correct on contact. The part by-itself is not expensive (flash flex ) and the repair is not difficult if you are used to repair iPhones. But you will need to dismount the display, the mother board and the rear camera. If you never did this, then be very cautious or go to a repair shop
Hello if you are confident with the battery you purchased (good reputation shop) then you may have a trouble with you phone. First i would try with another battery (i had the same trouble with new but defective battery. i will also check if battery % is decreasing /increasing normally. You may have damaged the gauge filter and the remaining information is corrupted.
Hello i think that you may have a trouble with your ambiant light sensor. Return to the repair shop and ask them to check. the quick battery drain is may be related to this, may be not.. even with brightness set to maximum you should have more than one hour capacity. The screen can be from poor quality or some connectors are not properly connected inside… or you have a trouble with your motherboard..
Hello even described as water resistant, the iphones don’t love immersion. I would suggest to find a serious repair shop what in order to get an inspection inside and may be a desoxydation process very quickly and to stop any charging process on the phone. From my own pratique the parts that are the more affected by water are battery and screen then mother board due to future oxydation. But remember even i have seen some phones working perfectly after cleaning and sometime changing of some part, the phone can suffer in the futur of early death. good luck. please note that if you bring your phone to apple, they will propose you only an exchange no repair. Take in consideration that if you don’t have a recent backup of your device, you should first try to save you data before going to them.
Hello no you don’t have to do anything to boot but changing the hdd with ssd is not an very easy thing to do. If you are confident with your technical skill, have a look on ifixit tutorials you may have to order some adhesive to seal your screen after operation. This is no difficult but requires more than screwdriver knowledge. If you don t want to open the imac i suggest that you use an external drive box connected to the thunderbolt connection. This kind of box is a bit more expensive than classical usb hard disk housing but you will get real good performance without opening the imac and you can keep internal disk for automatic back up.
