Front glass and lcd panel layer are fused together with optically clear adhesive. Bug could crawl between the glass layer of the lcd and the first layer of the backlight.
Ultrafine dust gets into the backlight layers - no dust can go under the glass and lcd as they’re laminated, but it gets in between the lcd and backlight sheets.
I have a similar problem with 1st gen macbook pro. Holding the button even for 10 seconds doesn't help. How can this work when there's no power source?
Does the new iPads have reinforced sides (mic hole and apple pencil charge window), so they don’t bend as easy as the first gen? In Jerryrigeverything’s new video this iPad passes the bend test.
