Surprised no image of the back side of the logic board.

The part missing (for me) is how the LCD flex ribbon cable attaches (is soldered) to the axle. What is that component it’s soldered to and how does it attach to the axle? No info on this anywhere! If your flex cable breaks, you’re screwed.

Is this screen used in any other device where the price for ‘that device’ is a lot less than this FZ1000 screen? I can’t wrap my head around why a replacement LCD is so expensive. Even without backlight. And the display board is $150+ Just robbery.
