Maybe give this a try: https://chevroletforum.com/forum/silvera...-fullsize-pick-ups-21/c-heat-blows-defrost-vents-only-solved-66103/ If you did anything battery related, it may have caused the actuator to get stuck.
Like what @gotowiec27 said, if you bought new, you should be able to warranty the controller. Otherwise if you want to tackle the troubleshooting yourself, try getting some contact cleaner first. Squirt a little into the charging port and insert the charging cable a couple times to work in the cleaner. Sometimes a little gunk or buildup can disrupt the connection. It appears the SM841N mSATA was an OEM part for Dell based off the 840 Pro series SSD. Using Samsung’s warranty data for the 840 PRO series, they could be warrantied before 5 years or 73 TBW. If i were to give a conservative estimate you are sitting at less than a third of your SSD’s TBW.
That generation Dakota was made from 1997-2004. The type of door will depend on the cab style. Regular, Club, and Extended cab doors are interchangeable, however the Quad Cab doors are slightly shorter. Side note, Dakota Quad Cab doors are interchangeable with that generation Durango doors. So just make sure the cab you are salvaging the door from is the compatible size and you should be good!
