To put the wires back in together there should be a teeth and that hook piece that's is holding the wire still in place. When you dissasemble it for the first time, you'll know where it was placed in and it's very easy to put things back together. There's should be some videos that explains it.
If it loses mouse accuracy, try cleaning it. Maybe there's some pet hairs or a dust that can get stuck in the lens and it's very hard to get a precision tracking if the device is dirty. But when you reassemble it make sure the screws that you've put in are right screw before they are in right place or else it wouldn't close in that way. It comes with different shapes and sizes. If that wasn't a problem either maybe clean your mousepad or any clean surface any that is free of dirt and dust. that's all :)
CAREFUL! When disassembly the device. Please DO NOT bend the cable to the right near the side buttons that grey cable is very fragile and it's very difficult to solder later once it's broken. I have 8-10 of these exact models (G102 & and G203 Lightspeed) They could have switched from a modular cables like a pin style just like the mouse cable ones.
List of flaws and fragile pieces ever since I bought so many:
Double Clicking Issue. it might work for you but i'm not sure...
(most common issue. For anyone who doesn't have any soldering skills at all. It's best to remove the mouse from the PC and click any buttons (or scrolling) that might have caused a static electricity. It should be done in 1 or 2 minutes and check it any of the issues have been solved.)
Plastic Parts fragile like the ends on the clicking buttons the 2 pieces that holding it together is breakable and the part that holds the scroll wheel is breakable too (the two leg pieces. not the roller actually...)
You can use a double-sided tape or if you want to buy a replacement, look for G502 Lightspeed Rubber Feet on the aftermarket that sells it
On Step 1: You don't need to remove the skates if you want to rescrew it later. you can unscrew it the screws both sides and cover it later then move to the bottom hole (Don't forget to put some kind of tape on it). The screws are small and they're easy to lose them if not careful.
It's difficult to replace the part when the PCB board is still screwed in. When I would disassemble it, I would unscrew the side buttons first then the motherboard (the screws are highlighted in white circles). From there try to remove the broken part at ease (Lift the motherboard and the side button motherboard from the housing). DO NOT try to pry it on step 4. You might broke something for that.
There's also phone repair toolkits that sells it on a cheaper price I would only use #00 Philips Screwdriver only and a spudger or a flathead screw to put the cables back in place when I disassembled it
Don't try using a commerical isopropyl alcohol cause that stuff would kills electronics and such. Though it's safe to use to clean it but it takes a while to let the board dry. PCB's and alcohol doesn't work nicely together so let it dry or use some kind of hair dryer (I kinda found this on accident by just watching a video on Odd Tinkering) if it feels the liquid is gone.
If you're talking about it loses mouse accuracy then maybe the mouse wasn't screwed in properly so there's some parts that are loosed screw around inside so take a time if it feels the screw is snug nicely. Clean the mouse inside? Maybe check Logitech G Hub or your DPI? Restart your computer?
There's also spare parts for Logitech G203 (G102 & G 305) mouse wheel replacements that sells it so google about that :)
If the mouse wheel wears out, maybe it's the time to replace the part
that's all i have
STEP 1 and 2
You definitely don't need to remove the rubber feets cause the screws are a bit small and very easy to lose them if not careful. So to pry it open halfway and unscrew it and the other rubber feet too. This should remove the housing.
Also the bottom hole where it's hidden on the sticker, you should also put a tape on it. So the other screw won't loose either. In other cases if you want to mod it.
There's also a hook at the bottom ; next close to the RGB lights where it should close properly when put reassembled.
In the aftermarket, just found out that logitech m275 mouse wheel roller works as a replacement if there's no actual spare part that sells the same
Sony did ever came up with a modular design on their PSP-1000 (Joystick Replacement) which does not require soldering only contact pins such like Xbox Series X headphone output
I wondered why Xbox X controllers grips were difficult to remove and also make a squeak sound when the plastic part is not closing properly but a double-sided tape should do it...
