I'm a former stay-at-home parent excited to reenter the workforce with a passion for technical writing. I am working on a master's degree in Technical Communication at University of North Texas. I have recently been a Grant Writing Intern at Our National Conversation and reviewed proposals for Unfunded List.

My journey has been unconventional, which brings a unique perspective to my work. I'm a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, inspired by my hobbies, which include running, gardening, painting, and tackling DIY projects at home.

My husband and I are eager to take on any adventure, whether it's renovating a house or replacing a dishwasher, or moving abroad for a couple of years. I kept blogs about both of those experiences to help me reflect on the journey and the process that we went through.

Some interesting things about me:

• I have 3 adult children.
• I have a rescue dog named Bernie who is 14 years old.
• I lived in Zürich. Switzerland for just over 2 years (June 2021 to October 2023).
• I had to learn German and pass a speaking and writing test at A1 level. My speaking level is A1, and my writing level is A2.
• I was once accosted by a person who legitimately thought I was Sandra Bullock - I don't see it at all!
