Hi! My name is Camila, I am a freshman at University of North Texas and I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering energy (Aerospace engineering).

Frontiers Flight Museum

After visiting the Frontiers of flight museum and learning how the process and development of planes happened it inspired me to learn more. As a result in high school I took a graphic design class and tried to get as many certifications as I could. I attended meetings and looked up to those who made it into the field.

My goal is to build something that'll make an impact on not only me but those who are Latino and to let them know they can make it too.

I was a part of The National Honor Society and the schools Newspaper/Yearbook. I was the photographer for NHS and we really tried to base our group with volunteering hours and creating new friends. Overall seeing where you want to fit in. Although Yearbook was different as we would be at every event and taking to people to get to know more about them and their school life. The newspaper really helped my social life as I was the editor and I went around interviewing people and helping my classmates as much as I could.

I did receive scholarships to some colleges and received first place in a band competition as I spent most of my childhood and teenage years in music.
