Hey Jestin, I have since discovered there are 7 variations of the G6 Play. Some of them use a 150mm screen and some use a 152mm screen. If the supplier doesn't specify, you will most likely get a 150mm. I found an eBay seller that lets you pick which one you want and it worked great.

Super Glue creates a haze when it dries on glass. Since its Super Glued in, you will probably have to break it out. Try looking for a replacement glass that comes with adhesive - otherwise, use something like E6000 which is available at most stores.

As Jonathan said, water damage is tricky to diagnose. There may be corrosion on the screen connector causing the touch not to work. Its also possible a component on the board is shorted out. You will have to replace the whole screen assembly (glass, digitizer, LCD) if you want a new touchscreen because it is bonded together. A new screen will do nothing though if the corrosion isnt cleaned off of the connector, or if the logic board is shorted. Its going to be about the same or cheaper to replace that phone than fix the screen.

Hi Becky, that’s quite a series of unfortunate events. The lines in the LCD and it turning off after being dropped in water is not good. There is a chance the battery just shorted and that’s all it needs, but sounds to me like the LCD went out and the logic board shorted out in which case the phone is dead. Best thing you can do when a phone drops in water is turn it off (remove battery if possible) and take it to a repair shop immediately so it can be dried out. Rice does the same as leaving it out in the open.
