Well well well... it's hard to judge or comment oneself, but I can definitely say that I'm not a genius nor a computer nerd, but living in Africa and not having proper repair shop nor place to buy spare parts readily, I had to figure it out and learn to do it myself... with a lot of screw ups and help from people around me I'm slowly figuring out the basics of emergency repairs...

Hi Stephen, You'll see on the aluminum pipe a connector for the A/C, that's where you connect to refill the gas... Important, do not switch on the A/C while you haven't refilled it with gas, or you might damage the compressor, also very important in some the vehicle models there is a condenser cartridge which needs to be changed, also of the outmost importance, check which type of gas, as there is different types of gas from model and from country to country e.g.: R134A, R136, R418, R22, R520... My advise to you is not to fill it completely and check within a day or two if it is still blowing cold, if not it means that there could be some other issues, the most common problems are with the compressor, or with the flex pipe... Anyway on the vehicle owner manual you should have the specification in terms of condenser cartridge and even which type of gas... Well good luck... Max
Mehr erfahrenHi Sniderreed, Well to find out if it's possible you should compare the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5... but it also come down to compatibilities. I have done it with a speaker from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 4S and it worked, but for a camera I'm not quite sure if you can take it from your iphone 4S and replace it on your iphone 5, but providing that you can fit it (don't forget that the casing of the iPhone 5 is thiner for the depth, bigger in therms of height, but the same on in terms of width) also the chips are not the same, if I'm not making a mistake the iPhone 4S has an A5 and the iPhone 5 has an A7. Well my guess would be since it is not from iPhone 5 to iPhone 4S, I would have a go at it and still try it. Bear in mind what I have mentioned above in terms of the space in the casing as well as the chip, but if you could get somewhere the specification of the two iPhone 4S and 5 cameras, you might be able to make a decision if worth trying it... I would, if you don't try you won't know! Maybe another user with...

Mehr erfahrenHi Torben, DO NOT LISTEN TO MOST OF THESES GUYS!!! DO NOT USE GLUE, SUPER GLUE OR PERMANENT ADHESIVE OR PERMANENT ADHESIVE TAPE!!! My advice to you is to fix it with an adhesive... Start to use a heat gun and a putty knife, Pro Tech Tool kit has a spudger set which can help... A proper double sided adhesive tape such as 3M. If you glue it just tell me how are you gone deal with another problem, such as broken LCD, glass... There are quite a lot of videos about that issue on you tube... Good luck, Max
Mehr erfahrenHI Peter, Is your MacBook Pro new? Did you change the protective glass? Well it looks like your bezel is coming out most likely because the adhesive does not hold anymore! My advice remove the protective screen, using the Pro Tech tool kit, get some proper adhesive and fix it back... I have just replied on another post about changing just the screen, go and see it you might get a more accurate answer ;) If you like my answer, just don't forget to score it... Thanks, Max
Mehr erfahrenHi there... Did you try booting it with another hard drive with an OS on it? if it starts and you can find and access your hard drive, most likely it means that the bus cable is needs to be changed! I live in Africa and due to the hot weather I had the same problem, one day starting my MacBook Pro I just saw a question mark flashing at start up! I then booted it with another HD and could read and access my hard drive, but the OS on it wasn't working! The solution was simply to change the bus cable I worked like a wonder... This seems to be a common MacBook Pro issue when living in a country with hot weather! Good luck...
Mehr erfahrenHi there, Yes you can, I bought mine on ebay... make sure you buy a good quality glass, do not hesitate to pay an extra few bucks... the right price should be around 30 bucks... when you select (just) the glass make sure it matches the right Unibody of the MacBook Pro, you can get the information under the laptop, e.g.: MacBook Pro Mid 2012 model is the Unibody A1278... The repair seems to be challenging, but armed with patience we can do it!!! After lengthy research as I've heard of people having had a bad experience... I found an excellent video on youtube, check under Louis Rossmann videos! He's very realistic, not like other BS edited videos making it so easy... He owns one of the best repair shop in New York and really know what he's talking about, also he has no issues on showing the tips and tricks to make a good repair... From what I could grasp, take extra care of removing all small pieces of shattered glass, also be extremely careful on the top right side (cable) and with the cam... it needs to...
