If the Acer Chromebook CB315-5H-P8HK trackpad will not move the cursor or allow you to click as expected, follow these steps to get your trackpad working again.
Trackpad Disabled or Sensitivity Set Too Low
If the trackpad is not responding or feels unresponsive, it may be disabled or set to a very low sensitivity in the system settings. This can happen accidentally during adjustments or updates. Open the Settings menu, navigate to the Device section, and select Touchpad. Check that the trackpad is enabled and increase the sensitivity if necessary. Restoring these settings can often resolve the issue immediately.
Temporary System or Software Glitch
