The page will help you diagnose why your Asus L410MA-MH09-CA isn’t connecting to Wi-Fi. If you have ensured that your network is online and within range, then it could be an issue on your computer’s end of the connection.
Airplane mode enabled or Wi-Fi is turned off
Along the bottom of your screen is the taskbar. In the bottom right near the date and volume, there should be a symbol representing your Wi-Fi signal. If you are in airplane mode, there will be an airplane. If you are not connected to the internet, there will be a globe.
- If you see the airplane on your taskbar, click on it. This will pull up a menu where you can turn Airplane Mode on or off. This should allow you to select your network to connect to.
If the above option didn’t work, then we may need to try through the settings.
- Select Start > Settings > Network & internet > Airplane mode, then select the toggle for On or Off. This should allow you to go back to your networks and connect.
Network adapter drivers need updates
If you’re still having difficulty connecting to networks, your network adapter driver may need an update. Normally this is possible through the settings on Windows, but due to your computer not having a connection, you will need to utilize another computing device and a USB drive to download the drivers.
- Navigate to the Asus website at https://www.asus.com
- Under the “support” tab, there will be a link to the drivers. There, you can input the model “L410MA”.
- Download the driver called “Realtek WLAN Driver” and load it onto the USB drive
- Plug USB drive into the Asus L410MA-MH09-CA
- Double clicking the driver should install it into your computer’s drivers.
- Restart the computer. When completed, you should be able to connect to the internet.
Network Settings Need to be Reset
This is one of the last things to be done about your device not connecting to wireless networks. If all other steps have been attempted, then resetting your network settings may do the trick.
- Open Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.
- On this screen, select Reset Now and Yes to confirm.
- This should clear anything in the settings from preventing your network connection.
