Airplane Mode On
Airplane mode automatically turns off Wi-Fi capabilities, unless manually reinstated. Follow these steps to turn off airplane mode.
- Press the middle Windows button near the bottom of the screen to access the Applications List. Afterwards look for the Settings square, denoted by a gear icon. If there is no square present, click the arrow at the top pointing to the right which will bring up an alphabetical list of all applications available on the device.
- Locate the option labeled airplane mode and press it
- Press the slider bar icon to turn it off. Once it says off in the menu, the icon has no color on the inside of the slider, and the airplane icon in the top of the screen disappears, then it should be turned off completely.

- Pressing the icon on the main screen labeled settings
- Swiping your finger left or clicking the arrow on the top to go to the alphabetical list of applications and look for settings there.
- Press the option that says Wi-Fi
- Look for the network with your Network Name attached and press it. Make sure that you have an active signal being produced to connect to.
- You will be prompted to enter your password. Once you do that, it should authorize and begin to connect. There will be a Wi-Fi symbol in the top right corner if there is currently a connection made.
Internal Hardware or Motherboard Failure
If after turning on the Wi-Fi setting and seeing no networks available to connect to, even if there are other devices connected to the desired network, you may need to replace a component on the internal motherboard or the entire board itself. Seek professional diagnostic service if removing the motherboard from the phone housing or Wi-Fi chip on it is necessary.
