If the power is on, but the LCD in your Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 camera stays black, this troubleshooting page has some potential solutions.
LCD Settings are Incorrect
Sometimes the LCD may be turned off accidentally, or the brightness is too low.
1. Press the Display or info button to toggle the screen view.
2. Make sure the battery is fully charged before testing the screen.
3. Try pressing the menu button.
Loose LCD Cable Connection
If the camera was dropped or bumped, the cable connecting the screen to the motherboard may have come loose.
1. Power off the camera and remove the battery
2. Check if the cable that connects the LCD to the motherboard is connected properly.
3. Reassemble the camera and test the screen again.
Damaged LCD Screen
A cracked or physically damaged LCD screen will not display images properly.
1. Look for any cracks, black spots, or leaking liquid under the surface.
2. If the screen is broken, it needs to be replaced.
Faulty Motherboard
If the LCD and cable are fine but the screen still doesn’t show anything, the motherboard may not be sending power or display signals.
