No sound from one speaker
Audio only comes out of the left speaker, while the right speaker is silent.
Damaged Audio Cable
The issue with this could be caused by the audio cable. The wire or cable itself may be damaged. To be sure check if the wire is broken or exposed, also try to twist and bend the wire where it connects to the headphone jack. If the issue continues to persist either replace the audio cable or reconnect the cable to the device after fixing twisting the cable.
Broken Speaker
The issue could also be caused by one broken speaker. If none of the audio cable fixes are working, this might be the case and in this case, the speaker will need to be replaced.
Sound goes in and out
Audio does not consistently play at the same volume or stops working altogether periodically.
Faulty Headphone Jack
The issue may not be with the Logitech G432 headphones, but rather with the headphone jack. Your device may have a faulty jack. To make sure of this, unplug the jack from the headphones and reinstall it to the headphones, as it may be a disconnected headphone jack causing the issue. If this problem persists it is clear that the headphone jack is damaged and will need to be replaced.
Broken Speaker
The issue could be caused by a broken or damaged speaker as well. If this is the case, the speaker or both speakers will need to be replaced.
Beeping or static sound
Audio comes in and out during certain volume levels and will not become consistent.
Faulty/ Loose Wiring
The headphones audio is not stable and when the volume is unmuted a persistent sound is heard from both of the speakers, this may be due to a faulty and/or loose wire within the internal wiring or wiring system of the headphones. If this issue persists the wire may be damaged and will need a replacement.
Microphone stops working
Headset microphone does not pick up the sound when spoken into.
Damaged Microphone Cable
The microphone may have a fray cable or damaged cords within the internal parts of the microphone, which could cause the speaker of your microphone to not pick up your voice, yet still hear others through the larger headset over the ear speakers. Check if the microphone has not detached itself from the headset or has a crack on its exterior allowing for dust or water to clog up the speaker. If the issue persists follow one of the guides on how to replace a headset microphone.
