Won’t turn on:
When I press the power button nothing will turn on.
Laptop overheating
If the laptop feels hot to touch, the fan maybe running high. Disconnect all wires and removed all power sources to let the laptop cool and come back to room temperature.
Worn out cords
Check all wires and connections for breaks or any damage by carefully feeling along the length of all cables to make sure there are no sharp kinks, frays, or broken cables.
Charging port damage
Check all ports and plugs for damage and any connections made in error.
Blue Screen of Death:
When I open an application, a blue screen shows.
When I turn on the computer, a blue screen appears and the device freezes.
Internal/External Hardware Boot Issue
Power off and disconnect any outside peripheral devices, press F8 while the computer is booting up to enter Safe Mode, then follow the recovery and troubleshooting options on the screen and restart your computer when prompted.
If the blue screen is still showing after trying the recovery options, it could be an internal hardware issue and you may need to replace a component depending on which hardware component is causing the problem.
Software is Downloaded Improperly and Not Up-to Date
Update the operating system in your Settings tab, then uninstall and reinstall the application, making sure its download source is up to date.
If the blue screen appears randomly, update your operating system, save any important data you have on a separate USB flash drive, then backup the device under your storage settings, and run a factory reset on your device.
Won't Charge
My laptop wont charge
Faulty Outlet
First check to make sure the power cord is not broken or damaged and that the wall outlet is working properly. Make sure that the charger is plugged into the right port.
Bad Battery
If that still does not work the next step would be to check the internal battery health. Open the start menu on windows and type in ‘cmp open’ the command prompt app, then type the command “powercfg /battery report” then press enter. The file location will be shown in the command Prompt window and the report will show up as an HTML file. Some places you want to look at are Installed battery, Recent usage and Battery usage.

The dock will not detach after charging 30 min. I want to manually separate the dock & the touch screen.
