Kamera lässt sich nicht einschalten
Keine Reaktion der Kamera, wenn sich der Ein-/Ausschalter in der Position 'On' befindet.
Batterien prüfen
Lege neue Batterien in die Kamera ein, um sicherzustellen, dass keine zu geringe Batteriespannung das Problem verursacht.
Batteriekontakte
Prüfe die Kontakte im Batteriefach, sowohl innen als auch außen. Bei Anzeichen von Korrosion müssen diese gründlich gereinigt werden.
Spiegel klemmt
Der Reflexspiegel im Kameragehäuse klemmt in der oberen Position und blockiert den Sucher. Das Drücken des Auslösers bewegt den Spiegel nicht oder nur sehr wenig.
Spiegelmotor-Zahnrad
Höchstwahrscheinlich ist das Spiegelmotor-Zahnrad defekt. Es handelt sich um ein Kunststoffzahnrad, das auf die Welle eines kleinen Motors in der Nähe des Spiegelkastens gepresst ist. Es treibt einen Großteil der Kernfunktionen der Kamera an, einschließlich der Spiegelbewegung, des Spannens des Verschlusses und des Abblendens der Blende. Wenn das Zahnrad versagt, fallen all diese Funktionen aus. Das Drücken des Auslösers führt meist zu einem surrenden Geräusch, da sich die Motorwelle frei dreht, aber sonst kaum etwas geschieht. Spiegelantriebshebel
Der Spiegelantriebshebel befindet sich im selben Bereich wie das Spiegelmotor-Zahnrad und ist für die Bewegung des Spiegels während der Belichtung zuständig. Wenn dieser bricht, klemmt der Spiegel in der oberen Position, aber alles andere sollte normal funktionieren. Wenn der Auslöser gedrückt wird, kannst du sehen und hören, wie der Verschluss auslöst. Autofokus funktioniert zeitweise nicht
Der Autofokus funktioniert nur sporadisch, wenn der Auslöser halb gedrückt wird.
Objektiv wechseln
Falls du Zugriff auf ein anderes Objektiv hast, versuche, das Objektiv zu wechseln. Wenn das Problem dadurch behoben ist, liegt es am Objektiv und nicht an der Kamera.
Elektrische Kontakte
Das Problem könnte durch verschmutzte Kontakte zwischen Objektiv und Kameragehäuse verursacht werden. Nimm das Objektiv von der Kamera ab und reinige die Kontakte am Objektivbajonett sowie im Kameragehäuse.
Auslöser
Die Kontakte im Inneren des Auslösers bzw. Schalters können mit der Zeit oxidieren und zu Kontaktproblemen führen. Entferne die obere Abdeckung, um Zugang zum Schalter zu erhalten, der zerlegt und gereinigt werden kann.
Auslöser funktioniert zeitweise nicht
Das vollständige Drücken des Auslösers löst den Verschluss nicht konsistent aus.

Blitz klappt nicht aus
Der Blitz klappt beim Drücken der Taste nicht vollständig aus.
Blitzgelenk
Die Feder, die den aufklappbaren Blitz antreibt, ist an einem kleinen Kunststoffgelenk montiert. Das Gelenk neigt zum Spalten, wodurch die Spannung der Feder verloren geht und sie den Blitz nicht mehr ausreichend stützen kann. Kamera wählt falsche Belichtung
Die Kamera wählt in den automatischen Belichtungsmodi nur die schnellste Verschlusszeit und/oder die kleinste Blende.
Defekte Belichtungsmesszelle
Die Belichtungsmesszelle, die die Intensität und Verteilung des Lichts in der Szene misst, muss möglicherweise ausgetauscht werden. Du erreichst sie durch Abnehmen der oberen Abdeckung; sie befindet sich zwischen dem Okular und dem Prisma.

I’ve successfully completed the mirror motor repair before but when i tried on another camera it resulted in it constantly firing the shutter without fully pressing the button. I was wondering if you knew what was going on and how you would go about fixing it.
Whenever i have the batteries in and close the battery door it automatically fires about 10 consecutive shots and whenever i change the dials or turn the camera on and off it happens. I’m lost.

I've had one camera do this to me so far. My guess is that the camera is cycling and trying to find its "home" or "ready to fire" position. The feeler contacts on the green gear are part of this. But it can't find home and keeps cycling for a set amount of time before it stops. I took it apart, checked it, and put it back together three times without any improvement. I chalked it up to some other electrical failure in the system and declared it a "parts" camera.

Your guess was correct. I took apart the camera after I commented and found that the contacts on the green gear was bent out of place so I bent them back and reassembled the camera which solved the issue.
But when I tried the autofocus it wouldn't work. I confirmed with another camera that the lens wasn't the issue. Cleaning the contacts didn't work. Do you have any clue on what the problem might be? Otherwise the camera works fine. I yet again lost.

Oh awesome! Glad you worked out that issue.
Regarding autofocus, the repair for the mirror generally stays away from the autofocus system so I doubt that you messed anything up with the sensors or the motor. It's always possible that a wire got resoldered in the wrong spot so I would double check that. I have had several cameras with shoddy shutter buttons that would fire the shutter and/or engage autofocus inconsistently. But the switch is cleanable. Desolder it from the flex (be careful not to melt all the plastic nearby), and pop the metal top off. Use some IPA to clean any oxidation from the copper contacts and it should work like new.
If you have a cable release for the camera, that can also help diagnose the issue. Connect the cable release and half press the button. The autofocus should engage. If it does, then the shutter button on the camera is likely the issue. If it doesn't, then the problem is elsewhere.

Before I try anything I should probably properly explain the situation. The camera shoots fine but whenever it takes picture it doesn't correct the focus and instead just takes blurry pictures. The autofocus never engages. Otherwise the camera works fine. I was wondering if that would be a completely different problem from the solution you gave.
I'm just speculating at this point in order to avoid taking it apart for the fifth time and causing more problems.
