If the buttons on the controller do not respond when pressed, a possible cause may be debris build-up that occurs over time in the void areas of the controller.

1. Power off the controller and disconnect it.
2. Use compressed air to blow around the edges of the affected button.
3. Use a soft brush from the iFixit toolkit to loosen debris.
4. If necessary, lightly clean the area with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab to remove buildup.
5. Allow controller to fully dry up before powering on.

The controller requires constant updating for optimal performance.

1. Connect the controller to a PC using a USB cord.
2. Download and launch the application ‘Firmware Updater’.

1. Do not disconnect the controller from the PC during the updating process.
2. After updating, restart the controller and test the buttons again.

A loose or damaged internal ribbon cable may prevent button inputs from reaching the main board.
