Soften the motherboard coating

  • If you aren't replacing the white interconnect cable skip to this step.

  • Apply a heated iOpener to the interconnect cable's ZIF connector on the motherboard for 90 seconds to soften the coating.

  • Alternatively, you can use a hair dryer or a heat gun for 30 seconds.

Ramollir le revêtement de la carte mère

Si vous ne remplacez pas la nappe d'interconnexion blanche, passez à cette étape.

Posez un iOpener chauffé sur le connecteur ZIF de la nappe d'interconnexion sur la carte mère pendant 90 secondes pour ramollir le revêtement.

Vous pouvez également utiliser un sèche-cheveux ou un pistolet à air chaud pendant 30 secondes.
