Apply the patch

  • Check again that the cut patch is the right size for the hole.

  • Peel off the backing and carefully apply the patch over the hole, making sure to keep fingers clear of the sticky back of the patch.

  • Use tweezers to aid in peeling the backing off of smaller patches.

  • Use your fingers to smooth out any bubbles and apply pressure to the patch.

  • If the hole goes all the way through the jacket, repeat this process to place a piece of tape on the other side.

Flicken anbringen

Überprüfe nochmals die Passform des Flickens.

Ziehe die Schutzfolie von der Rückseite ab und bringe den Flicken sorgfältig über dem Riss an. Achte darauf, dass du nicht mit den Fingern an der Klebefläche des Flickens hängen bleibst.

Bei kleineren Flicken ist eine Pinzette hilfreich.

Drücke mit den Fingern eventuelle Blasen heraus und drücke den Flicken fest.

Wenn sich der Riss auf der anderen Seite (dem Innenfutter) der Jacke fortsetzt, dann bringe auch dort einen Flicken an.
