Einleitung
Use this guide to replace the fan in a HP Pavilion 15-cc561st (product number 1KU29UA).
The fan turns on automatically while you use your laptop to cool internal components and prevent overheating. It is normal for the fan to turn on and off. Obstructing the air vents blocks airflow which makes the fans work harder; cleaning the air vents can make it easier for the fan to cool the laptop.
Removing the fan is a required step for replacing the heat sink.
Shut down the laptop, disconnect all external devices, and unplug the AC adapter before beginning. Take the appropriate precautions if your battery is swollen.
