Backlight flickers randomly, pressure on the keyboard helps.

Hi everyone, so I have a problem with my macbook. I don't have applecare so i'm trying to fix it myself.

Basically the backlight flickers, as if the inverter or a cable was not seated correctly. however I opened it up and reseated everything and the problem is not going away. Also If I press on the keyboard or handrest (or sometimes even typing) the screen will flicker.

Apple replaced the logic board about a year ago because of a bad nvidia chip but it doesn't look like it's the same problem, this looks more... mechanic.

Anyway, I took a video of the problem.

Einstellungen

Connect external display, clear PRAM to set brightness to default level and verify.

Verify display listed in the System Profiler’s Graphics/Displays device tree is not disappearing intermittently (refresh System profiler to observe).

Inspect and reseat the LVDS cable and camera cable connection between display and logic board. Also test if brightness setting is a contributing factor. Has flickering stopped?

Swap RAM with known good RAM to determine if video issue is RAM related..

I tried all these suggestions and the issue still doesn't go away.

As for the System profiler, nothing happens when the screen flickers.

I tried reseating the cables but it's still happening. is it possible that one of the cables is bad?

I would suspect cables connectors.

This is either a short between backlight layer and top case/keyboard or film with translucent and black areas are just in wrong orientation. Had this problem myself just few hours ago. After putting everything as it should flicker is gone.
