You're going to have to get a multimeter and start tracing this problem. Ours have relays that click on and off and if yours does, but it doesn't click, there's where to start looking. If you're not good with 120 volts, don't touch it unless it's unplugged.

If it doesn't go on even when the light button is pushed, you may want to check the bulb first.
