Wiped iOS for Linux, Wont Turn On

I been working on a MacBook Pro mid-2012, 15” Retina display to wipe the iOS to switch to Linux Mint. First it needed a battery replacement. Completed that, fully collaborated, held a charge. I let it sit a while until ready to use again and put Linux on it. The battery seems to work because I hear and feel the hardware moving. Sometimes it feels fuzzy like static on top. Not sure if display went bad or keyboard isn’t responsive as some keys didn’t work even before replacing battery. I may check to see if any cables came disconnected. Any suggestions for getting the laptop to turn on?

Sadly the tools you need to run only run under macOS (not iOS) so you'll need to create a bootable external drive or a partition on your internal drive.

So with macOS running you will install this gem of an app! CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see Bilder zu einer vorhandenen Frage hinzufügen

That way we can see whats happing with your systems power issue.

Macs don’t run iOS only iPhones and iPod touches. But I doubt that installing Linux would break the hardware. Have you tried resetting PRAM and the SMC?

Very true! I'm always surprised how many times I see people make that mistake!

Short these with a paperclip to see if the power button is the issue.
