Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Repair

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is a 14” laptop used for gaming, streaming and everyday tasks. It was first introduced in 2020 and featured powerful hardware within a compact frame. The original model weighed less than 4 lbs., much less than a typical gaming laptop, and featured a two-toned white and silver design. Some popular features shared among most models include the hinge, which lifts the keyboard off of surfaces when the screen is opened to increase airflow, and the pin-hole design on the lid of the laptop which supports the LED AniMe Matrix™ in some models.

A new model was released in 2022. This model retained many of the same features that made the original model popular but included some improvements including updated Ryzen CPU and the change to a Radeon GPU. The 2022 model also featured a web camera and a new single-toned pure white design.

Improved cooling features were added to the 2023 model. ROG intelligent cooling was added to improve performance during gameplay. The 2023 release also included improved display quality and was available in black and white.

The most recent 2024 model released with a new lid design featuring a slash. This model is ultra slim and weighs in at only 3.31 lbs.

New models were released in 2022, 2023 and 2024. These models included new features such as web cameras, improved cooling mechanisms and higher screen resolutions. This release also had improved cooling features with an upgrade to ROG Intelligent cooling and Tri-fan technology.

To identify the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, the top-right corner of the front of the device should have an Asus ROG logo and symbol with the device name on it. If the logo is scratched off or illegible, you can indicate this device by the Featuring AniMe Matrix™ display. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is the first-of-its-kind with this light up display on the top of the laptop.
