The HP 255 G7 is a laptop featuring a 15.6-inch diagonal BrightView LED-backlit display. It was released in 2019 and runs on the Windows 10 Pro operating system. The HP 255 G7 is available in different configurations depending on user needs. It is a budget-friendly and user-friendly device that delivers solid performance for its price range. HP designed this model to establish a strong presence in a competitive and constantly evolving laptop market. The HP 255 G7 is part of HP’s business laptop line. Some of the failure modes it has commonly had are: no power, dead motherboard, black screen (corrupted BIOS), random reboots, fan failure due to dust accumulation, battery not charging, touchpad failure, application failure, and USB port failure due to lack of frequent updates. Identification
The HP 255 G7 Notebook is a 3.9-pound laptop with a 15.6" screen, in dark ash silver. However, some retailers identify the laptop's color as black. Furthermore, the laptop has a plastic chassis with a canvas texture. The laptop has a large HP logo in the center of the front cover. The HP laptop also has a DVD drive, 3 USB ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 RJ-45 Ethernet port, 1 headphone jack, and an SD card slot. It is comparable to the HP EliteBook 855 G7, with a 15.6" screen. However, the HP EliteBook 855 G7 has an aluminum chassis compared to the HP 255 G7 with a plastic chassis. Furthermore, the HP ProBook 650 G7 and HP ProBook 450 G6/G7 have similar characteristics; however, they are mainly business versions, usually running on Intel-based processors, as opposed to the HP 255 G7 Notebook running on AMD processors.
