Background Information
Founded in 2013, reMarkable is a Norwegian startup selling tablets under the same name. Announced in November 2016, with preorders starting in September 2017, the reMarkable 1 aimed to fill the gap between e-readers and full-fledged tablets, by offering a larger, more interactive experience while maintaining the hallmark E ink display. reMarkable tablets support "writing, reading, and sketching."
