The iFixit app really helped out in the repair. I used to repair LCD screens for friends, but I hadn't done any since the 4s, so while things were very similar, they were also very different.
Mein Rat
Read through all the instructions first so you have a better idea of when to take out certain components and you're not just taking out screws and taking things out that doesn't need to be removed.
