Nothing Happens When Power Button is Pressed
When pressing the Power Button, your LifeBook just won't turn on!
Drained Battery
Your computer's battery may be drained. Plug your charger into your computer and into an outlet. Your computer should be able to turn on through the connected charger.
Bad Battery
If you suspect that you have a bad battery, you may need to get a replacement battery. Try a known working battery on your computer and plug in a working charger. Your computer should turn on. Then try your battery. If it does not turn on then your battery may be faulty.
After troubleshooting the battery: if your computer still won't turn on, you may have a power adapter problem.
Power Adapter Problem
To find out if your problem is your power adapter, try using a known working power adapter for your computer. If your computer turns on with this known working power adapter, then your power adapter is faulty and you will need a new one.
If your computer still does not turn on with a working power adapter, then your computer may have an internal problem.
Motherboard Problem
The motherboard may be faulty and require replacement. Replacing the motherboard is expensive and time consuming; it should only be replaced as a last resort.
Computer Does Not Properly Turn On
Your computer finally turns on and makes sound or lights up, but then turns off or freezes!
RAM Problem
The RAM may need to be replaced. Consult the RAM Repair Guide for instructions on replacing the RAM.
Fan Problem
The computer may have overheated, over the course of its use, due to a fan problem. The fan cools the computer while it is in use, and without it, your computer is susceptible to high temperatures. Damages to the internal parts of your computer may have been caused by excessive heat.
In this case, the fan may need to be replaced. Consult Fan Repair Guide for instructions on replacing your fan.
Hard Drive Problem
If there's a problem with your hard drive you might have to format or replace your hard drive. Consult Hard Drive Repair Guide for instructions on replacing your hard drive.

Keyboard Doesn't Work
You keep typing, but nothing is coming up on the screen!
Dirty Keyboard
If only a few keys are not working you may need to clean your keyboard. If your LifeBook has been exposed to dirt or small debris, there's a chance that the particles are stuck under the keys and are causing a loss of key function. You can use compressed air to remove the debris from under your keyboard. If the problem persists, you may need to replace your keyboard.
Keyboard Malfunction
When none of the buttons on your keyboard are working, your computer may have a keyboard problem that requires it to be replaced.
Consult the Keyboard Repair Guide for instructions on replacing the keyboard.
If the problem remains unresolved, it may be a motherboard problem.
Motherboard Problem
The motherboard may be faulty and require replacement. Replacing the motherboard is expensive and time consuming; it should only be replaced as a last resort.
Discs Are Not Reading
You just inserted in a disc, but your LifeBook won't play it!
Disc Problem
Your disc may be in poor condition. Try another disc in your computer. If this other disc plays, then your original disc may be damaged. If neither disc works, then the problem may be your optical drive.
Optical Drive Problem
The optical drive may need to be replaced. Consult the Optical Drive Repair Guide for instructions on replacing the optical drive.
Wireless Network Doesn't Work
You try and connect to the internet, but your LifeBook won't get a signal!
Wireless Module Problem
The wireless module is what lets the laptop establish a wireless connection. If you're unable to establish a wireless connection, you may need to re-install the drivers which allow your computer to "talk" with the wireless module. You can find the driver installation instructions here: http://www.pc-ap.fujitsu.com/support/drv...
If re-installing the drivers does not resolve the issue, you may have to replace your wireless module. Consult the Wireless Module Repair Guide for instructions on replacing the wireless module.
