Remove the stretch-release adhesive

  • Grab the first pull tab with your fingers or blunt nosed tweezers and slowly pull it away from the battery, toward the bottom of the iPhone.

  • Pull hard enough to maintain tension on the strip, but don't force it. Give it plenty of time to stretch and un-stick from under the battery.

  • Don't press down on the battery. Hold the iPhone firmly by its sides.

  • Keep the strip flat and unwrinkled. Try to pull evenly on the whole strip, rather than pulling mainly in the middle or on one side.

  • Pull at a low angle so the strip doesn't snag on the edge of the battery.

  • The strip is less likely to tear if you use a combination of pulling and then reeling the strip around your tweezers. Slowly repeat this procedure until the strip is removed.

  • If the adhesive strip breaks off, try to retrieve it using your fingers or blunt tweezers, and continue pulling—but do not pry under the battery.

  • If any of the adhesive strips break off underneath the battery and can't be retrieved, try to remove the other strips, and then proceed as instructed below.

Elastische Zuglaschen herausziehen

Fasse die erste Zuglasche mit den Fingern oder einer stumpfen Pinzette und ziehe sie langsam vom Akku weg in Richtung Unterkante des iPhones hin.

Ziehe fest genug, so dass der Klebestreifen unter Spannung bleibt, aber auch nicht zu stark. Lasse dem elastischen Klebestreifen Zeit, um sich auszudehnen und unter dem Akku hervorzukommen.

Drücke nicht auf den Akku. Halte das iPhone an den Seiten fest.

Versuche die Streifen während dieses Vorgangs flach und glatt zu halten. Ziehe gleichmäßig am gesamten Streifen, nicht nur in der Mitte oder auf einer Seite.

Ziehe in einem flachen Winkel, so dass der Streifen nicht an der Akkukante schabt.

Der Streifen reißt nicht so leicht, wenn du ihn herausziehst und gleichzeitig um die Pinzette wickelst. Wiederhole das so lange, bis der Streifen ganz herausgekommen ist.

Wenn der Streifen doch abreißt, dann versuche ihn mit den Fingern oder einer stumpfen Pinzette zu erreichen und weiter herauszuziehen. Heble aber nicht unter dem Akku.

Wenn einer der Streifen unter dem Akku abgerissen ist und nicht herausgeholt werden kann, dann versuche zuerst die anderen Streifen zu entfernen und dann mit den nachfolgenden Schritten weiterzumachen.
