Clean the HDMI port with isopropyl alcohol

  • Follow this guide to make a custom cotton swab.

  • You can also use dental picks with barbed tips (non-flavored).

  • You can use a normal cotton swab, but most are too thick and have loose cotton that can snag on sharp edges.

  • Apply a few drops of highly-concentrated isopropyl alcohol (>90%) to the cotton.

  • Insert your tool between the middle contact pad and the perimeter of the HDMI port itself.

  • Don't force the tool into the port, as you risk breaking the middle contact pad.

  • Slide the tool along the perimeter of the port to clean it.

  • Wait a few minutes for the isopropyl alcohol to evaporate before plugging in your device and testing it.

Folge dieser Anleitung, um ein schmales Wattestäbchen herzustellen.

Du kannst auch ein Zahnreinigungsstäbchen mit gezahnten Enden verwenden (aber bitte die ohne Geschmack).

Du kannst zwar auch ein normales Wattestäbchen verwenden, aber die meisten sind zu dick und die Watte daran kann sich an scharfen Kanten verfangen.

Gib ein paar Tropfen hochkonzentrierten Isopropyl-Alkohol (mindestens 90 %) auf die Watte.

Führe dein Werkzeug zwischen dem mittleren Kontakt-Pad und der Umrandung des HDMI-Anschlusses ein.

Sei vorsichtig und wende nicht zu viel Kraft an, denn sonst kann das mittlere Kontakt-Pad beschädigt werden.

Schiebe das Werkzeug an der Umrandung entlang, um den Anschluss zu reinigen.

Warte ein paar Minuten, bis der Isopropyl-Alkohol verdunstet ist, und verbinde dann dein Gerät und teste, ob es funktioniert.
