For those who do not have either of those, this guide can be used again and again to clean oil paint off clothes using ordinary household products.

    • Use a palette knife to scrape off the wet paint.

    • For best results, begin this process as soon as possible after staining your clothes to prevent the paint from drying entirely.

    • Soak a cotton ball with the oil paint solvent, and then gently blot at the stain.

    • Caution: Oil paint solvents exude toxic fumes and can cause skin dryness or cracking upon repeated contact. Perform this step in a well-ventilated area while wearing gloves.
